Who we are
Level Up Your Skills is an initiative designed to support the growth and welfare of contractors, freelancers, and small businesses by providing free industry knowledge and resources to level up your business, skills and connections.
Our Mission
Rates of povery and unemployment are higher in the African American community than in the general population. African Americans are also less likely to own their own businesses than non-African Americans, including small business development, entrepreneurship, equal opportunities for advancement and financial literacy.

When the pandemic caused our economy to shut down, our community of local businesses, freelancers, entrepreneurs had to reassess and recalibrate to a new environment of commerce. Led by consultants, leadership coaches, entrepreneurs, and fiscal managers, we have curated a business development series to help you start reimagining your success, provide templates, models and assessments for your toolbox and provide opportunities for peer-to-peer learning.
